Also known as the Calico grouper or Strawberry grouper, the Speckled Hind grouper is considered to have the best flavor and texture among the Pacific grouper type. The flavor of this fish is comparable to the Nassau grouper. Like any other grouper, the Speckled Hind features a mild taste with a faintly sweet undertone.
