Ordering & Delivery

How much does local delivery cost?

For eligible Orlando-area local delivery addresses, delivery is $20 for orders under $75 and free for orders of $75 or more. The $75 free-delivery threshold applies to local delivery, not nationwide shipping.

Where do you ship?

We ship to residential and business addresses within the contiguous United States exclusively via FedEx. We do not ship to P.O. Boxes, Alaska, or Hawaii at this time, to keep transit times within the safety window for frozen goods.

When will my order ship?

To protect the quality of your seafood, we schedule shipments to avoid packages sitting in a FedEx warehouse over a weekend. We ship Monday through Wednesday:

  • Orders placed Monday through Wednesday before 12:00 PM Eastern Time typically ship within 24–48 hours.
  • Orders placed Wednesday after 12:00 PM Eastern Time through Sunday ship the following Monday.

How long does delivery take?

Once your order leaves our facility, FedEx typically delivers within 1–2 business days. You will receive an automated tracking number by email as soon as your FedEx label is created.

Product Quality & Handling

Why is your seafood flash-frozen?

Our seafood is flash-frozen at extremely low temperatures shortly after harvest. This rapid process helps prevent large ice crystals from forming in the flesh, preserving its original texture, flavor, and nutrients. By slowing the natural breakdown that occurs after harvest, flash-freezing locks in peak freshness until you're ready to thaw and cook.

How do you keep seafood fresh during shipping?

Every SeafoodFresh Orlando order is packed in an insulated cooler with ample dry ice to maintain frozen conditions during transit. Each portion is individually vacuum-sealed to preserve freshness and make storage easy.

When your shipment arrives, the seafood should be fully frozen. Immediately transfer it to your freezer. Even if the outer FedEx box feels room temperature, the seafood should be frozen solid inside the insulated liner.

How do I handle dry ice?

Your order may still contain dry ice upon arrival. Never touch dry ice with bare hands, as it can cause skin damage. Use insulated gloves when handling it.

Leave remaining dry ice in the insulated liner in a well-ventilated area to evaporate, keeping it out of reach of children and pets. Do not seal dry ice in an airtight container.

Is your seafood sustainable?

We only work with fisheries that practice sustainable fishing. We are committed to ocean conservation and work with suppliers who use responsible harvesting methods.

What types of seafood do you offer?

We offer a curated and growing selection of premium finfish, shellfish, and gourmet specialties.

Are your products wild-caught or farm-raised?

We offer both wild-caught and farm-raised seafood. Each product description indicates its source, allowing you to make an informed choice.
